Each manufacturing step or stage, and all details, are considered part of a highly complex overall project. Not one of the very many aspects of our projects is left to chance. Our various departments work synergically in order to provide a full range of services without sacrificing attention to detail or quality of the highest order – factors that we consider essential in all that we do.

Service

Kings provides the following quality services for the production of samples. The following stages are provided singly or as a set of services:
- pattern making
- prototype production
- repeat-sale items

On request, Kings Service can also provide fabrics produced internally, also exclusively for product sampling purposes.

 

Pattern making

our in-house pattern making department features leading-edge computerized systems, such as Electra System. The company can produce various pattern types to meet an extremely broad range of customer needs.

Cutting

The cutting process has been outsourced to three operators linked to Kings Service. Our links with these operators enable transmission of electronic format data (files ready for production process start-up for each job order). For processing of special fabrics, grooving or panel printing, the company avails itself of the services of a cutter specialised in manual cutting (the other two operators provide automatic cutting services).

Manufacturing

manufacturing is undeniably the company’s major strength. Our in-house manufacturing processes are entrusted to the care of a 30-strong Italian team of highly trained, expert professionals with a long track record in this sector. Technology has always been a key consideration behind Kings Service’s investment policy. As part of our costs optimization policy – and also to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding marketplace and customer base – we are constantly on the lookout for the very latest equipment and machinery. As a manufacturing concern, we firmly believe in ongoing product innovation. With our various fields of specialization (jersey cloth, fleece, viscose, silk, wool blends etc.), we serve a number of the most renowned Italian fashion houses, such as D-squared, Martin Margiela, Dolce Gabbana, Prada and Franklin M. We are proud to work for such prestigious fashion companies. Furthermore, the fact that we can maintain the authenticity and specifically Italian nature of our products is also a source of particular satisfaction.

Printing and embroidery

the printing and embroidery processes for Kings Service clothing products are outsourced to structures specialised in finishing work, capable of providing innovative solutions also for the detail work (a vitally important aspect, since details are a decisive factor in establishing the specific character of each item).

Washing and dyeing

in view of our longstanding collaboration agreements and policy of experimenting with the very latest washing and dyeing techniques, for our strikingly original and diversified products, we can anticipate market trends and meet the needs of even the most demanding customers.

Fleece

Fleece has always been considered one of the most popular fabrics within the youth market. While fashion designers had, for a certain time, limited use of this material to sportswear, fleece has now made an impressive comeback – as evidenced in the latest fashion collections with their strikingly original solutions. Kings Service has adopted innovative techniques and special embroidery processes and has therefore been able to accord a new role to fleece, an option with its own special and highly specific appeal.

Ironing

the final ironing and packaging stages are vitally important. Here, we see the final outcome of the manufacturing process (namely, the item of clothing received by the purchaser). Kings Service has close relations with four consolidated ironing facilities. These facilities differ from each other in terms of the equipment used and services provided. These relations enable further diversification of the range of products on offer to our customer base.

Italian and foreign fabrics research

one of the most striking things about Kings Service, as a firm, is the attention it pays to seeking out the most innovative materials and fabrics. This brings us into contact with suppliers both from Italy and abroad. Our ongoing relationships with foreign markets enable us, specifically, to produce raw materials according to briefer time schedules and at lower costs than are to be found within the Italian market. This means we can dedicate more resources to product quality, while also considerably enhancing the competitive potentials of the company as a whole. A further significant characteristic of our company concerns our research into reproduction of special fabrics for vintage clothing product ranges. This research is carried out each season, and constitutes one of Kings Service’s particular fields of specialisation.
